He was born in Dergaon, a small town of Assam, India. He completed his acting course at FTII Pune (Film & Television Institute of India).
He started his professional career with the drama film Bombay Summer as Madan in the year 2009.
It explores the ephemeral and delicate friendship between three youths from Bombay. He did a short drama movie Vaishnav Jan Toh in the year 2012.
In the same year, he got featured in the action crime-drama movie Tezz as Kangana’s Lawyer in the year 2012.
